Salish is almost 16 years old and is still solving challenges with her dad. This weekend, they visited the home of their friends house. It was a lovely home with a big driveway and 3 stall garage. There is a swimming pool and an unknown number of rooms. The place has a big kitchen with pantry and an awesome pantry door.
There are many big houses that Salish has visited, they appear to be places near her home or workplace. Various concepts were communicated through her video profile. Things like, its ok to remodel, people sometimes fall in the pool with all their clothes on, and its ok to park in the driveway. The point of the video, or main concept was that there were secret rooms, there were things undisclosed that should be discovered, and that there were challenges to complete to find the next problem to solve.
There were 4 awesome cars and Salish got to sit in the drivers seat of one of the vehicles. She's been seen in the drivers seat of at least several vehicles. In other states, kids can start driving at 14 in the city, and at 10-12 on private property. Salish is allowed to drive at 16 in her state in was supposed to be getting her learners permit this summer. She was last seen driving a go cart on closed track.
The video was very brief and focused on a few key concepts, but there was lots to discover in the video. Salish is almost 16 but she looks closer to 23, and there is a question about her height. The people are wondering if Salish will grow to Jordan and Laurens height or if she is done growing in height, likely because of her diet. Hudson is about the size of their parents but hes a little older.
It will be interesting to see the outcome of that question and how it compares to other young human statistics for people that are learning, playing, growing, and doing chores.
Not everyone has a budget for remodeling their parents home but with a little creativity and concepts from the video profile, secret rooms can be fun for everyone.
Using a hand drawn map and cryptic directions that are easy to solve. Secret rooms can be built in different houses if the front door is left unlocked and closed when inside the home. Inside the home, there is a submap and rules such as don't go to these specific areas or only stay in these specific rooms.
On a neighborhood map, most people will keep their doors locked, the people participating will have their doors unlocked and they can lock any rooms that are offlimits, no lockpicking. There can then be things to find that help solve the next challenge or just cool information to share and explore.
The safest way to do this is to start on a street and solve some challenges with all the secret rooms. Then, expand it to go around the whole block. Finally, the secret room challenge can be expanded to a small map with poinpoints of participating secret room areas. Human safety issues would have to be documented along the way to keep the events safe, and the environment fun for everyone.
