Adults have recently spoken about time outside of work. Its an important conversation because many adults have been on caffeine for a very long time. Their kids, mostly grew up without caffeine but consumed it as adults and don't drink it as much. This had some interesting effects on society when compared to their parents.
With the changes in perception and cognitive processing, people have a lot more time at work and at home. This weeks episode demonstrated hanging out in a human environment. Salish had 24 boys chasing after her all over town. Her friends were doing a show in one of the auditoriums and Salish stopped by to get a briefcase. She had been on 3 dates with one of the boys and he seemed excited to be there. This date was a lot more casual and less dressy.
While something like playing hide and seek over the age of 5 would have never been a consideration for a weekend activity a few years ago, more recently childhood activities have gained interest as adult pass times. Many adults spend their time outside of work doing these activities. Video games, flying drones, watching plays, and arts and crafts help deal with boredom and break up the monotony outside of work.
The show demonstrated some cool ways to play the game in an urban setting. To add more discretion to the game, the person can't crouch behind furniture or sit on the floor. When they are found, they might receive a text message to vibrate their phone or a discreet "hey I found you, lets get out of here".
Other cool rules would be a timer, and a best out of x rule. For example, going to an urban area for 2 hours. Part of the group goes into a store and waits there for 45 seconds. Then the rest of the group splits up or stays together. There are 5 minutes to find a person to get points. Best out of 16 wins. There would have to be a radius to make sure the distance is walkable and searchable.
Salish always has cool things on her show to think about and to reflect on. This would be a cool activity to play with people no matter what their age and it might lead to other things to reflect on regarding being human.
