Todays show focused on a big mansion where Salish saw some doll houses, similar to the ones from when she was smaller. She also got to play with some small dogs and she seemed to like them. They were really cute and seemed like to her as well.
This was the second time recently that Salish had a chance to hang out with an A list celebrity. They looked really cool together and it was nice seeing that on the video profile. She brought a gift and was also given a gift and was able to roam around freely at her house.
The visit turned into a conversation on work and Salish got to do some challenges to see if she was right for the job. She presented her previous jobs list and talked a little about some of her work days.
Having a busy schedule is a big topic in a lot of places. Executives and managers used to work 16-20 hour days in some places fairly recently and there was an effort to get them to commit to work days that were no longer than 12-16 hours. Most have made further commitments to reduce their hours to 10-12 hours and to understand why workers want to be at work for less than 8 hours.
There are a lot of conversations about having a big work day, and some people can handle it. They aren't too exhausted at the end of the day and the long hours don't affect them too much. Other people need a lot more rest in between tasks and find it difficult to work long hours for more than a few weeks.
Certain places have offsets between work and school. People in school work less often and shorter hours, but if they need more work for whatever reason, then their school commitments can be reduced and some of the work concepts may count towards school. Some of them wont and that means, there might be some extra homework on the weekends.
Its interesting to see someone go through the whole human development procedure while they're still in high school and leave everyone gasping for air at how normal the whole process can seem. This year should be fairly interesting as Salish continues to persevere at meeting her life goals.
