Jordan was famously 67 years old when Salish turned 15, this is something new in human development and he would be considered a pioneer in family planning. At least in certain countries, in other countries older parents were popular in the past but have fallen out of favor for younger families. Recently, families went from a starting age of 16 to 24 to 25 to 32, and then 30 to 40 for a first baby.
Using basic math, it can be determined that Jordan was approximately 52 when Salish was born. Lauren, Salish' mom, would likely have been approximately 40 which was extreme 15 years ago but is fairly common and healthy for a last baby or only child in many households. This has introduced various aspects of human dynamics in modern sociology. Sometimes self reflection can be eye opening and insightful and sometimes it requires subconscious thought to get through the examination and behavior observation. This allows better participation in popular topics where someone is an observer of society and of their own lives within that role.
Overall, adults are still fairly dependent on others in the United States until 40 to 50 years old with independent 20 to 30 year olds becoming rarer and more unlikely without conscious intervention and specific goals towards those purposes. This presents an interesting role in society when families are starting later and a parent may end up being 80 to 90 years old before a child in the U.S. becomes fully independent of their own person, aware of their surroundings, and able to plan for both short and long term survival in a comfortable and peaceful atmosphere.
Salish has introduced her grandparents on her channel and its unclear if they are Lauren or Jordans parents but they are older than both Jordan and Lauren. We don't know their age but if they are Larens parents and they had her at a young age, they might actually be younger than Jordan. We dont actually know their age because that information has not been provided.
With everything that happened during the pandemic, it makes sense that Salish is looking for a substitute dad. She spends the day doing Q&A with different potential dads and going through some activities with some of them. This all makes a lot of sense as Salish faces the question of moving out on her own or possibly going to college to live in a dorm room for a few years.
