Salish ends up finding a puppy while she is out for a walk. She starts playing with the dog and does not see anyone that it could belong to. She goes through some procedures that are appropriate when finding an animal. It could be someone's pet and they may not know its missing. There is also a possibility that she may run into the owners if they live nearby and she decides to keep it.
Her time with the dog is very playful and she does eventually decide to bring the dog with her. Jordan is not immediately notified of the dog while she is deciding on how to handle the situation. Her dog walker also shows up to take her other two dogs out for some exercise.
At the end of the day, Jordan has to make a decision. Salish has now spent most of the day with the dog. There are questions about the dog's origins and how the dog was found. Salish has a moment to decide on how she'll handle the final situation.
