Salish has been featured in various industrial settings and has displayed in interest in industrial settings, construction, business startups, and general business. This week she explored designing games inside a warehouse.
High tech areas are rarely about IT or video streaming anymore. The computers are just there and anyone can start streaming in 5 minutes with a retail smartphone and free app download. Some services provide additional functionality for pay which can range from not that much to pretty pricy. However the most basic and commonly used features are normally available or accessible at little to no cost.
This leads people to conversations on what to do with the IT equipment and video streaming services. Somethings are obvious, but nobody has time to watch 35 billion minutes of streaming content. Time management is necessary and limiting the services that are being used helps to make time a little more manageable.
Warehousing and logistics is a surprisingly popular topic. Once all the warehouses are filled and the shipping trucks and containers are moving along, a different question presents itself. What should be done with all the additional warehouse space?
Salish has a plan and it starts with climate controlled warehouse activities. These include jumping in a feathered box, crawling through lasers, playing with an industrial weight machine, and standing on a pillar while avoiding rolling bars.
All of the activities seem really cool and have modern applications. For example, peripheral sensory stimulation, avoiding high temperature cutting lasers, examining weight and gravity on various planets, and coordinating a landing to a stationary object on an orbiting planet.
